Hi all my fellow voicers! I recently had the opportunity to speak with our fellow student and coach, Shelley Avellino. Shelley has many talents including singing and performing in musical theater in Asia and the United Kingdom. She also plays several instruments including piano, violin, saxophone and guitar which Shelley feels helps her immensely in rhythm when performing voice over jobs. Shelley has been a full-time voice over actor for 6 years. She began her voice over career in 2012 when she started coaching sessions with Melissa, our Mama VO. Shelley says that the On-Going classes at TVAS provided skills to improve her acting chops and her storytelling ability. She is proficient in medical eLearning and does tons of corporate and explainer videos. The following is one video she wanted to share. Another video she is sharing is her adorable narration of The Tales of Gigi. She also has done lots of work in commercial, animation, audiobooks and IVR. Her clients include Microsoft, Cisco and Johnson and Johnson, just to name a few. Shelley sees her future taking her into radio imaging and dubbing. In addition, she has become one of our beloved coaches at TVAS where most of us have enjoyed and benefited from her tremendous experience. We love watching her exciting future unfold whether it’s her flying to exciting places or applauding her quest to conquer cross-fit. And is there nothing this adorable lady can’t do? Yes, she holds a degree in 3D Professional Blown Glass!! Thanks Shells, I had such fun chatting with you.
