Melissa Moats has built her career on voicing commercial copy – a genre she has loved since she was a kid. As the signature voice of many major household brands, why do these clients trust Melissa to deliver their message to millions of listeners across the country? A commercial not only sells a product or service… commercials of today sell a feeling. Do you know how to find the feeling in a short, mini story? That’s what a commercial is, after all… And there are hidden clues in every piece of commercial copy we read. In this workshop ,you’ll learn how to fall in love with telling :30, :15, and :10 stories and how to make your audition stand out from the crowd! From soft sell to hard sell and everything in between, voicing commercials is a lucrative part of the voiceover business, but it’s the voice actors who know how to sell from their hearts who find themselves booking time and time again. Melissa is excited to share performance tips and tricks she applies every day, and most importantly how she gets to the heart of every ‘story’ she tells. Performance, performance, performance. This workshop is performance heavy with a smaller class size to allow time to dig deeper in feedback and allow a wider variety of takes.
You began your focused commercial study building a strong foundation in Commercial Essentials. Then you rocked the mic in Commercial Performance… Now, it’s time to turn up the heat on everything you’ve learned so far in Advanced Commercial Performance!
