“One girl can never have too many passions and understandings,” says voice actor Samantha Berman. She started her professional singing career in 2008 on the Holland American Cruise Line. Sam then began her dance, singing and acting career as a dance captain for various New York venues. She earned her BA in drama and dramatic/theater arts at the University of California.

After moving to Las Vegas, Sam decided to take a break from the theater world; she had always felt the field of medicine calling to her. Sam went on to earn her degree as a registered nurse at UNLV and currently works as a RN in emergency medicine. Sam says there is no better feeling than caring for her patients and knowing that she can help save lives.

Plus, it helps to be able to know how to pronounce medical jargon–which leads us to how Sam became a student at TVAS. She had always been aware of the voice over industry but at the same time, knew very little about the business. In 2017, Sam began taking classes at TVAS after noticing the studio at its original location in Henderson. She has enjoyed all the classes she has attended and plans on taking more courses, especially the Producer’s Showcase.
Sam has been mostly booking in commercial genre but wants to pursue narration and character genres. Sam’s absolute favorite voice project is dialogue.
In addition to all the many, many important and interesting things in her life, Sam is above all else THE devoted and proud puppy mom of Kali. She rescued Kali in 2013 in Denver.
