Hello fellow voicers! I am thrilled to introduce you to a sweet and warm lady, Melodie Maynor! Melodie feels her background in Theater Club and Choir in high school helped lay the foundation for her voice over journey. Her military career of over 14 years gives Melodie a vast amount of customer service experience that she brings to the table. Although she had difficulty finding classes on becoming a voice over artist back in 2012/2013 Melodie didn’t let it squash her desire or her motivation.
In 2016 Melodie found our TVAS through a class offered at UNLV. She enjoys the On Going classes the most and feels she advances her voice over career by pacing herself with the many specialty classes that are offered at TVAS. She looks forward to taking elearning and narration classes. Melodie feels most suited for performances with documentaries, narrations, IVR and commercial projects. She is very excited to have recently recorded her demo and the launching of her web site highlighting her unique style. Her future goals include mastering medical narration work to add to her portfolio. I asked Melodie to tell us something we would find fun and surprising about her. When she was just 18 years old she worked at a drag strip for the Spring Nationals selling magazine subscriptions and yes…she even got the T-shirt! Thank you Melodie for taking us along on the beginning for your voice over career as we all wish you tremendous success. You can contact Melodie and listen to her demos on her website: http://www.voiceovermelodie.com and her email: melodie@voiceovermelodie.com
